A cool idea for the opening of our production popped into my head today: the 'asylum director' (someone creepy enough to fit the part) comes on stage and introduces the audience to his/her asylum, reassuring them that although the people held here are dangerous, he/she has them under complete control and the audience will come to no harm. BAM! Lights go out or crazy strobe lights happen and the inmates of the asylum (our creepy mask characters perhaps) appear on stage, surround the asylum director, and kill him/her. (I think doing this in strobe lights would be awesome). Suddenly, they are no longer under control and are free to take the audience on whatever crazy journey they choose..."strap into your straight jackets!"

1) I would like to vote for Lily to be the director not because she is creepy but the whole mobility thing
